Avalon maintains elementary, middle school and high school campuses. The facility is spacious and well-equipped with state-of-the-art educational resources. Avalon elementary provides an ability level curriculum that focuses on individual needs. Student success is emphasized in every area of school life. Avalon middle school emphasizes a comprehensive academic program geared toward each student's ability level. Organization consistency and personal responsibility are stressed. Avalon high school is a private, four-year literacy-based high school. The student-teacher ratio is 11:1. The Avalon high school is geared toward preparing students for technical trades, entrance into a two-year college program, or direct entry into the workplace after high school.

Accommodation Statement

Avalon School is an accredited private school geared toward helping students not equipped to handle the rigors of a large traditional school setting. The school provides an environment that is smaller in size and able to provide more individualized instruction. The Avalon School curriculum follows a traditional academic model for the liberal arts, while keeping state recognized goals firmly in sight. Each course offers state adopted textbooks for students with special learning needs. These textbooks have high-interest topics and controlled reading levels. Class sizes are based on an 11:1 student teacher ratio to ensure individual assistance is readily available.
